Meet the Team

Dr. Hae Seung Lee is a board certified Endocrinologist and Obesity specialist affiliated with Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Memorial Hospital of Gardena, Providence Little Company of Mary, Torrance Memorial Hospital and Kindred Hospital of South Bay. 

She graduated medical school at Soonchunyhang university, school of medicine in South Korea. She completed her fellowship training of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Prior to her specializing in Endocrinology, Dr. Lee completed her residency of Internal Medicine in Soonchunhyang University Hospital in South Korea and in Metropolitan Hospital affiliated with New York Medical College(NYMC) in New York City. She worked as an assistant professor of NYMC at Metropolitan Hospital and a primary care physician for 5 years. She participates as a volunteer research faculty at Lundquist at Harbor UCLA. Dr. Lee seeks to treat all her patients with respect and clinical excellence. Her area of expertise include diabetes, thyroid disorders, obesity management, bone health, adrenal gland disorders. She is an active member of the Endocrine Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinology.

Dr. Prativa Rajbhandari is currently a consultant Endocrinologist affiliated with Memorial Hospital of Gardena, Torrance Memorial Hospital and Providence Little Company of Mary. She also serves as a locum Endocrinologist at Providence, St. Jude Medical Center at Fullerton.

She completed her Internal Medicine Residency from Harlem Hospital Center in affiliation with Columbia University in New York City and then her fellowship from Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Rajbhandari is board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and metabolism and a active member of  Endocrine society and American Association of Clinical Endocrinology. She has particular interest in Diabetes and Thyroid but enjoys treating all general endocrine disorders which include obesity, adrenal, bone and pituitary disorders as well as hormonal treatment including male and female hormone replacement therapy. Dr. Rajbhandari believes in working as a team with her patients to achieve the most optimal outcome. She lives in Torrance with her family and wishes to grow her private practice here at Torrance as South Bay Endocrine Specialists.
